According to CNN, Fergie and Will.i.am were at Jim Henson Studios to record the track along with several artists such as: Lionel Richie, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Eminem, Brandy, T-Pain, Justin Bieber, Wyclef Jean, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Jason Mraz, Toni Braxton and Bono Vox.
